B.A.4 and B.A.5 Will Wreck some Havoc
B.A.5 Surge is more dangerous than we are being told.

In July, 2022 we are finding out B.A. 5 is going to be fairly dangerous for our Autumn/Fall of 2022.
Essentially it will cause more severe disease due to going further down in the lungs more like Delta and Alpha did.
It’s also significantly more contagious even than any version of Omicron variants we’ve seen thus far.
Considering the U.S. is again pretending the Pandemic is over, this is a cause for alarm. Where I live in Canada, due to staff shortages some ERs have had to limit their hours or shut down completely. What? That’s unbelievable how depleted our healthcare systems have become.
Please watch the video if you can. Many people are getting re-infected 4 or 5 months later again. A lot of Long Covid is doing more damage and causing more conditions that lead to morality than we are being told.

So this worries me due to how little media attention this is getting. It’s taboo again to talk about Covid-19 while significant parts of the world pretend the pandemic is over. But it’s not, that’s not the reality.
The variants are adapting faster than our vaccines, mandates or see-saw of politicians trying to please everyone while we are all experiencing a certain degree of fatigue due to the situation. Deaths of despair (that we aren’t talking about), healthcare systems with too many Cancer patients that we missed and a host of other serious supply-demand problems like waiting lists for surgeries complicates everything.
New immune-evading Omicron subvariant BA.5 is now dominant in the U.S. and is quickly spreading here in Canada and elsewhere in the world. Symptoms of the Omicron BA.5 variant include runny nose, sneezing, and sore throat, but it’s end-game can be pretty different from the usual course of other Omicron variants that tended to impact the upper airways, rather than go lower into the lungs.

Mexico
Of course places like North Korea could be in worse shape, we just don’t know. Shanghai will likely have to go into lockdown again in the coming weeks.
BA.4 and BA.5 were first identified in South Africa and may soon become the dominant strains in Europe and the US, health experts say. But some news outlets are reporting that B.A. 5 is much of the same. These conflicting reports and the fact that Politicians are again pretending the pandemic is over, which is worrisome to me. Our Canadian media don’t say that or lie to their population.
In fact we’ve never seen a variant like B.A. 5
More immune escape
Less protection from vaccines + contracting the virus
More deadly and greater chance of hospitalization
Even more susceptible to certain genetic mutations (e.g. Neanderthal cluster, more common in South Asians such as Bangladesh).
B.A. Surge will be very bad imho.
Re-infections are common and will continue to be so
Of course we will all like to pretend it’s over and this won’t be a problem, but guys I’m actually more interested in the truth.
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control labelled BA.4 and BA.5 as 'variants of concern' in mid-May, and they seem to be worse than some of the academics first hinted at.
BA.5 is estimated to have caused nearly 54% of COVID infections in the U.S. last week, according to data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The U.S. is back to over 300 deaths a day. People are back to barely wearing masks again. Media outlets and politicians barely mention it any longer, it’s just a very bizarre situation.
How Bad will B.A. 5 Get?
“The Omicron subvariant BA.5 is the worst version of the virus that we’ve seen,” Dr. Eric Topol, a professor of molecular medicine at Scripps Research and founder and director of the Scripps Research Translational Institute, wrote last week, before the latest numbers, but as the subvariant was well on its way to becoming dominant in the U.S.
B.A.5’s combination of immune escape and higher mortality than previous Omicron cases, is to be frank, more than a bit concerning.
Think about it, trust in the Vaccines has never been lower. Few are motivated to get thirst first booster, nevermind their second booster.
We have become desensitized, avoidant and frankly just want to get on with our lives.
According to Fortune, a recent study out of South Africa found that those who had been previously infected with Omicron but not vaccinated experienced a nearly eightfold drop in neutralizing antibodies when exposed to BA.4 and BA.5.
Not all Omicron variants are created equally and the Fall of 2022 is a time where the virus is really going to pivot ahead of humanity.
Some of these symptoms overlap with symptoms of the Alpha variant. However, people with the Alpha variant are likely to experience other symptoms like shortness of breath and a loss of taste or smell as well.
A lot of western media is saying there’s no evidence that B.A. 5 is worse, but there actually is.
The Portugal, South Africa and even now the UK data, confirms that. So as usual we know what will happen to the United States and Canada in August through November.
Because healthcare systems are ruined, populations are maskless, and B.A.5 can go down into the lungs, it’s the worst possible combination. Reinfections are common, immune escape is incredible and herd immunity is clearly totally a myth.
