Google Is Trying to Help Doctors with Burnout

Can Google improve Search for nurses, physicians and clinicians in real-world settings?

In 2022, 53% of physicians reported that they were feeling burned out, up from 42% in 2018, according to a January survey from Medscape.

Recently, Google announced new generative AI search capabilities for doctors. Google’s Med-PaLM 2 is fairly interesting and I’ll be curious to see if Google Gemini adds anything new to the mix.

How will LLMs evolve into helping clinicians? Google Cloud on Monday announced new artificial intelligence-powered search capabilities that it said will help health-care workers quickly pull accurate clinical information from different types of medical records.
