Hey Everyone,

Anthropic has been busy while OpenAI has been dealing with infighting and a CEO who didn’t seem to listen or respect his Board. Meanwhile the latest mode of Anthropic, Claude 2.1, is now available over API in their Console and is powering our claude.ai chat experience.

Claude 2.1 doubles the number of tokens the chatbot can interpret to 200,000 and gains beta support for third-party APIs.

What does it Mean?

I means you can now relay roughly 150K words or over 500 pages of information to Claude. This means you can upload codebases, financial statements, or long literary works for Claude to summarize, perform Q&A, forecast trends, compare and contrast multiple documents, and more.
