What is Codium AI?

The future of code is getting murky. Or more powerful?

For all of you software developers out there, Codium AI is a Software code quality startup that came out of stealth in March, 2023. Software of questionable quality cost US companies alone $2.08 trillion in 2020. So they got $11 million in seed funding from the likes of co-led by Vine Ventures and TLV Partners alongside notable angel investors including executives from OpenAI, Snyk and VMware. With this funding, CodiumAI is developing its first AI model, dubbed TestGPT.

I think this Tel Aviv startup has a favorable future, inspite of all the odds. The reason I saw this is the launch of AlphaCodium, their latest state-of-the-art open-source research project, that sets a new standard in competitive AI-based code generation.
